HOWEVER WE STILL NEED YOUR INPUT - if you have an idea please let us know - please consider what you might want in a planning system and send us your thoughts. The more information we get the better the planning tool will be. Please email us fms08r@burgewood.com.au ; we appreciate your time. If you have sent your ideas in and have not had a response - we apologise we have recently found out that our server had an intermittent issue and some emails were not being forwarded correctly - if you would like to re-send them we would appreciate it.

As with previous versions of FMS Calculator, we can provide the National Driving Hours Reference for more details see http://fms08.burgewood.com.au/NDHR.htm - this reference provides the proof you need for your customer and peace of mind for you.

The new regulations - HEAVY VEHICLE DRIVER FATIGUE REFORM

These rules impact drivers of vehicles over 12t or have 12 or more seats (Bus and Coach)

There are 3 options

  1. Standard Hours (Std Hrs)
  2. Basic Fatigue Management  (BFM)
  3. Advanced Fatigue Management (AFM) - is coming see July 23 email

The following pages are aimed to provide industry with the tools to tackle their responsibility effectively and efficiently

While the current FMS Calculator uses the current (pre Sept 2008) regulations and validates actual hours as required by COR and other accreditation systems. It provides a very user friendly, Excel based, accurate and secure system that maintains records for the required 365+ days; the new versions have been further developed to be even easier, more efficient and provide better 'Management by Exceptions' systems.

The new Programs are

FMS Comparitor - compare the old regs with the new - test your rosters, schedules, trip plans and be prepared for the changes required.

FMS Demo - a free demonstration program (with some restrictions) so you can see what the new regs are, and how easy FMS Calculator is to use.

FMS Trial - the same as FMS Demo but with the added benefit of using your own driver's as the test pilots

FMS Calculator - incorporating the new regulations, FMS Calculator provides a quick, easy, accurate and secure validation system for all your drivers. It simplifies the extreme complexity of driving hour validation, gives you peace of mind and proof for your company and your customers

FMS Auditor - same as FMS Calculator developed for those companies who are currently on and are about to be accredited under different schemes that permit sampling of their drivers hours to prove compliance.
