FMS Calculator and FMS Auditor
With 2 weeks to go, FMS Calculator has started the rollout. Many companies have trialled FMS Calculator and are starting to get the procedures in place for Sept 29. For those that have used Log Checker the conversion to FMS Calculator has been simple and the current experience is that there has been a significant drop in input times. We have seen a drop or around 75% in many cases.

Current Load Checker users will be offered the current FMS Calculator rates, but will have to finalise arrangements to use FMS Calculator before the end of September ‘08

FMS Planner has been developed to take FMS Calculator history and plan up to the next 14 days for a driver. Using Standard Hours or BFM, FMS Planner can provide your driver a plan of what is expected

Thanks to all those that offered suggestions and templates, we appreciate your input. We have 2 FMS Planner programs available – Basic and Advanced. Basic is the no frills version of advances and does not have the capability of including previous history. Advanced is detailed above. We have another planner tool on the drawing board – this will use the FMS Planner Advanced platform to make a program capable of using designated trip plans, so instead of entering in work and rest break hours, all that will be required is to enter in the start time of a pre-planned trip.
